The Graduate Certificate in History is designed for high school teachers interested in enhancing their mastery of historical methods and acquiring an advanced grasp of the discipline of history. This six-course, 18 credit hour program also provides teachers the credentials required by the Higher Learning Commission to teach dual-enrollment courses for college credit in their schools. Additionally, the certificate program is an excellent way to earn graduate-level credits applicable to the M.A. program in history at UNC.
