Prerequisite: SRM 552. Mathematical Statistics and Applications.The theoretical fundamentals of mathematical statistics and inference including: limiting distributions, statistics and sampling distributions, point estimation, sufficiency and completeness, interval estimation, and tests of hypotheses.
