THEA 311 Scenic Painting I

Prerequisite: THEA 149. This course is a study of the basic techniques of a scenic artist. Emphasis is placed on equipment, procedure and practical application. In this class we will explore methods of traditional one-dimensional scene painting as well as the fundamentals of drawing. Projects will include a variety of textures including wood graining, brick, stone and drapery as well as a landscape and foliage project. Course fee required.
