Subjects include identity, politics, Chinese Diaspora and immigration/emigration, history, and Chinese society through film, literature, historical and cultural texts. Prerequisite: CHIN 202 or equivalent. This course develops oral proficiency by exposing students to linguistic functions categorized as intermediate-high and advanced by ACTFL proficiency guidelines. This course prepares students for the oral proficiency interview.
