Credit for Military Service
Four (4) hours of institutional elective credit may be awarded to current and former members of the armed forces who have completed their initial training obligation. Student must turn in a copy of their DD214 member 4, to the UNC Office of Admissions. Additional credit may be awarded to veterans of military service who have attended military service schools. The student must submit their AARTS, SMART, CCAF, or CGI transcripts to be awarded credit beyond 4 hours. This credit is evaluated by the Office of Admissions according to suggested guidelines by the American Council of Education.
