Withdrawal from Program
A student who has been admitted to a Graduate program and decides not to attend or who attends and decides to leave the program between semesters must notify the Graduate School in writing in order to have their file closed. Once notified by the student, the Graduate School will notify the Office of the Registrar, which will drop any registration for subsequent semesters and notify the student via the student's Bearmail.
A student who decides to leave a Graduate program during a semester must initiate the withdrawal process in the Office of the Registrar and notify the Graduate School in writing in order to have their file closed.
