Physical Education M.A.T.
The MAT in Physical Education and Physical Activity Leadership is designed for school professionals who wish to develop advanced skills and strategies in physical education and school-wide physical activity promotion. Students will be prepared to assume a leadership role in coordinating and championing comprehensive school physical activity programs.
Portfolio. In lieu of a Thesis Option or Non-Thesis Option, all students must develop and present a portfolio that displays successful incorporation of the theoretical and foundational aspects of effective school-wide physical activity promotion. Public exhibition of the portfolio before an audience of faculty and students is required.
