Accreditation and Affiliation
Since 1916, the University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). UNC’s accreditation was affirmed by the HLC in June 2015, with the next reaffirmation of accreditation in 2024-2025. All UNC degrees in fields that require accreditation for licensure or certification are accredited.
