Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC)
At the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC), located in the Bonnie House, we’re excited to connect with you. Whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or want to be an active supporter, we’re here to help you thrive. Our mission is to advocate for, educate with, and support all identities across the gender, sexual, and romantic spectrums through an intersectional lens.
We approach our work through an intersectional lens, recognizing both the challenges and the strengths you bring to your college journey. Our goal is to empower and support you—inside the classroom and beyond.
Our center offers:
- study spaces with computer access,
- a library of Queer book and DVD titles available for rent,
- in-house counseling services, an all-gender lactation room and restrooms, and two lounge areas.
- monthly Free STI testing, interest-based Affinity Groups, the GSRC mentoring program, UNC’s LGBTQIA+ History Month, Speak OUT panels, and educational trainings.
