Academic Appeals
Graduate students may appeal any academic decision that they consider arbitrary or capricious, or contrary to University policy. The procedures for appealing an academic decision can be found in UNC's Board Policy Manual, 2-1-2 "Academic Appeal Procedure" at www.unco.edu/trustees/pdf/board-policy-manual.pdf.
For other types of academic decisions students wish to appeal, including course grades and program termination, students should contact the Graduate School to discuss the appeal process.
