The Office of Academic Support and Advising assists new students and their family members with their transition to the University of Northern Colorado. All new freshmen will attend New Student Orientation. Parent Orientation is also offered for parents and guests to learn about the university, transition students experiences, and the relationship of the university and parents. There is a fee to attend Parent Orientation. During the New Student Orientation program, new students are advised and register for their first semester of classes.
