Degree Requirements — 33 Credit Hours
The Master of Arts in Teaching - Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (MAT-CLD) Education program was created to prepare teachers to serve the growing number of English language learners in their classrooms, and to address the critical shortage of teacher who can effectively educate students who are learning English as a new language. The MAT-CLD endorsement program requires the completion of 33 semester hours. Requirements for the program include admission to the Graduate School and teaching licensure or enrollment in a teacher preparation program. Evidence of second language learning experience needs to be demonstrated for completion of this program.”
