BIO 370 Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of computational biology and bioinformatics through hands-on, computer-based learning integrated directly into lecture time. Designed for students with all levels of computational and mathematical experience (no prior coding experience needed), the course provides practical training in tools and programming languages such as R and Python to clean, organize, analyze, and visualize biological data using modern computational tools, statistical packages, and reproducible workflows.
