MUS 569 Advanced Mixing Concepts and Techniques

This is a project-based course in which the student will gain a thorough knowledge of professional hybrid mixing workflows integrating Pro Tools with outboard processors in UNC’s Studio A and the SSL XL Desk and analog summing capabilities in Project Studio 93. Students will learn to combine console-based techniques with digital processing, developing the critical listening and decision-making skills required in contemporary commercial studios.
