Program Overview

The minor in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences is designed for students who are interested in all aspects of human and animal sound production and perception related to communication. Students will find this program can be tailored to complement various areas with the option of selecting courses in acoustics, anatomy and physiology, linguistics, and speech-language and hearing development and disorders.
Note: The minor in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences does not lead to licensure or certification that would permit practice in either Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. Students earning a minor in Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences must obtain a final grade of C- or better in all courses counting toward the minor.
