The Entrepreneurship minor is the applied aspect and the customization of course work to fit the student’s interests and career plans. Faculty members from academic disciplines and applied fields provide a critical framework for students to build their perspective, knowledge, and skills to engage in entrepreneurship. Students in the minor develop entrepreneurial mindsets, gain deep knowledge of opportunity discovery, venture creation, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, and engage in ideation, business planning, small business management, and networking with local entrepreneurs.
Admission to the minor requires academic good standing with the University of Northern Colorado.
Students are expected to complete the prerequisites for all courses in the minor.
Minor Requirements — 18 Credits
Take all of the following courses (9 credits):

Program Notes
Transfer Credit. Students may transfer a maximum of 6 semester credits with a "BA" prefix toward the minor from other institutions.
To graduate with an Entrepreneurship Minor, a student must attain a 2.0 or greater cumulative business GPA and attain at least a "C-" grade in each individual course required for the Entrepreneurship Minor.
