The Bear Path to Medicine—Foundations Certificate is designed for sophomores with a minimum 3.0 GPA. It introduces students to the medical school pathway, academic planning, professionalism, and the competencies expected of successful medical school applicants. It ensures early alignment between students’ goals, academic performance, and required preparation.

Certificate Requirements — 17 credits

Prerequisites — 22-23 credits

The following courses are required to be completed with a grade of C or better prior to being enrolled in the certificate.
