The University of Northern Colorado College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNC COM) is committed to providing comprehensive academic support that recognizes the diverse learning needs of its students. The curriculum incorporates a variety of instructional modalities such as virtual anatomy platforms, traditional dissections, standardized patient encounters and other interactive learning experiences to support different learning styles and promote academic success.
UNC COM employs dedicated learning and career specialists who provide individualized and group academic counseling focused on effective study strategies, time management, self-care and other skills essential for academic achievement. The UNC COM Student Success Committee, composed of faculty, learning and career specialists and academic leaders, proactively monitors student performance and facilitates early intervention to support student progress.
Through this collaborative and student-centered approach, UNC COM ensures that every student has access to the resources, guidance and mentorship needed to reach their full academic potential.
