ART 392 Chinese Art History

Prerequisites: ART 181, ART 182, ART 183, ART 184, ART 234. This course uses discussions, examination of works of art, and experimentation so as to lead to a better understanding of the history of Chinese Art. Students will be presented with the opportunity to learn about and experience the geography of China, the people of China, the arts traditions of China, and the aesthetic underpinnings of traditional Chinese culture. Majors/Minors only or by instructor consent. Sophomores and above.
