Advising Notes –
- This suggested schedule assumes that a student will begin with entry level Spanish. There are several options for receiving Spanish credit by taking Advanced Placement and IB courses in High School, the CLEP test, and/or our program’s placement test to determine the appropriate level to begin. The Prior Learning Credit policy allows for credit for 100 and 200 level courses.
- Contact the World Languages and Cultures Dept. for the placement test and additional info. This sample schedule will satisfy a Spanish major’s 36-hour requirement for 300-400 level courses in the major, an 18 hour minor, 31 hours of Liberal Arts Curriculum, and will provide for 35 hours of University-wide electives.
