Chemistry and Biochemistry

The Analytical Chemistry Certificate exposes students to the fundamental principles of chemical methods of analysis and competency in the various aspects of chemical analysis, from sampling to acquisition of data and statistical treatment of data to assess quality and reliability. The program also provides proficiency in instrumental methods of analysis, including electrochemical analysis, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and separation techniques such as chromatography.

For SAT Mathematics before 2016, the minimum score of 460 is acceptable. Students scoring between 30-39 on ALEKS MATH test must co-register MATH 124/127 along with CHEM 111, or take CHEM 103 prior to CHEM 111.
