Challenges Cadets to practice adaptive leadership skills as they lead squad operations. The focus is developing tactical leadership abilities in order to succeed at ROTC's summer Leadership Development and Assessment Course (LDAC). The military science lab is the application portion of the course. The lab is encouraged for all cadets but required for contracted cadets. Labs are held in Fort Collins at CSU. Using intense application of adaptive team leadership, this course challenges Cadets in leading operations at the small unit level. Cadets continue to develop proficiency in Troop Leading Procedures, and are evaluated as leaders as they prepare to attend the ROTC summer Leader Development Assessment Course (LDAC).
