Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business
The Digital Marketing minor is for students interested in acquiring the latest knowledge, skills, and tools in areas of digital marketing such as e-commerce, user experience design, basic web development, social media management, digital advertising, search engine marketing, and content creation.
A student who wishes to add or change to a Digital Marketing Minor must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on at least 15 credit hours and obtain written approval from the Monfort College of Business Marketing Department. Students who have completed 15 or more credit hours and have a cumulative GPA between 2.25 and 2.49+ may apply for admission to the Digital Marketing minor with the Monfort College of Business Marketing Department, Kepner 1055.
Minor Requirements — 21 Credits
Complete 21 Credit Hours from the courses listed below.
Minor Core — 9 credits
Minor Electives — 12 credits
Select any 4 courses.
Student may take either ART 469 or ART 473, not both.
Student may take either BAMK 478 or JMS 415, not both.
BAMK 494 is repeatable under different subtitles for a maximum of 9 credit hours.
Program Notes
Students may transfer a maximum of 6 semester credits toward the minor from other institutions.
To graduate with a Digital Marketing Minor, a student must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher in the courses that count towards the minor and earn at least a "C-" grade in each of the individual courses.
